PROGRESS

May 8, 2019

Phase 1B: (Green Road to Richmond Road):

· Anew zone was implemented on 5/7/18 with two-way traffic now being maintained on the northern one half of Cedar Road as repairs are being performed on the south one half.

· Turning lanes have been provided at Green Road, Legacy Village (E) main entrance, and at Richmond Road.

Work expected in the coming months:

· Milling of existing asphalt bae material.

· Existing brick and concrete base and curb to be inspected and marked for full depth repairs/replacement.

· Excavation and installation for new 12” concrete base “bus pads” at designated locations along the south side of Cedar Road.

· Placement if intermediate course asphalt followed by adjustment of roadway castings.

· Installation of ADA compliant curb ramps and sidewalks followed by seeding and mulching.

· Note: Designated construction zones will reduce traffic to 50% compacity; with two-way traffic to be always maintained.

· SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC CONGESTION IS ANTICIPATED FOR THE DURTATION OF THE PROJECT.

    Phase 1A: (Green Road to Richmond Road): 
    • Two-way traffic is being maintained on the southern one half of Cedar Road as repairs are being performed on the north one half.
    • Turning lanes have been provided at Green Road, Legacy Village (E) main entrance, and at Richmond Road. 
    Work expected in the coming months: 
    • Milling of existing asphalt bae material
    • Removal and replacement of existing 2.5’ gutter, curb and driveway aprons along the south side of Cedar.
    • North one half of roadway; Existing brick and concrete base is being inspected and marked for full depth repairs/replacement.
    • Placement of intermediate course asphalt followed by adjustment of roadway castings.
    • Note: Designated construction zones will reduce traffic to 50% compacity; with two-way traffic to be always maintained.
    • SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC CONGESTION IS ANTICIPATED FOR THE DURTATION OF THE PROJECT.
