PROGRESS

July 14, 2020

  • Work is at various locations throughout the project limits from Literary Bridge (at the end of Towpath Stage 3) to the Cuyahoga River Trail outlet.


April 7, 2020

  • Work is consentrated along the Tremont-University Road corridor and specifically adjacent to the Sokolowski-University Inn area.
  • This area is being expedited due to the restaurant being restricted (closed) due to current circumstances.


January 13, 2020

  • Project is shut down for the winter and is scheduled to resume in March.
  • Work has primarily been focused at the Literary Bridge construction joining Towpath 3 to Towpath 4.


April 10, 2019

  • Project has resumed work and is in progress along Harvard and Jennings Road. This project is scheduled to continue for several months.
  • Expect delays in this area.

February 14, 2019
  • Project is in progress, however shut-down for the winter. 
  • There have been delays; Utility, both gas line and overhead electrical line conflicts and concerns as well as grade issues for the path alignment. These issues are currently being reviewed.  
  • The Harvard Road pedestrian bridge is in place and work to resume on in spring. 
  • Jennings Road work is in progress-roadway is out and temporary fill is in place in addition to maintenance of traffic signals, barrels, and barricades have been placed. 

January 22, 2019
  • Project is in progress, however shut-down for the winter. 
  • Work may resume at any time due to weather conditions and availability of work items that can be performed. 
  • Work that has been performed at this time included removal of pavement through Jennings Avenue. 
  • Installation of the pedestrian bridge superstructure adjacent to the existing Harvard Road Bridge. 
  • Installation work of catch basins, man-holes, and connecting conduits has been performed on Jennings Ave., and to be performed on Harvard Road. 
  • Coordination efforts with the railroad for track and gate work is ongoing,  
  • Not formally scheduled, possible roadway closures.
