PROGRESS:
November 16, 2020
- General contractor is continuing to work on the widening of Sprague Road and West 10th Street intersection.
- Sub-contractor Trafftech will be installing signals after concrete is complete.
- Grass seed has been placed for most of the Middleburg Heights side of Sprague Road apart from a few areas not completed due to contractor having equipment in the area.
- Expect to have all landscaping completed with in the month of November (excluding the corners of intersection).
- Weather permitting Sprague Road will be open in both directions of traffic once temporary striping is completed prior to winter.
- installation begins the week of November 16th.
October 15, 2020
- General contractor has completed the Strongsville side of the roadway, sidewalk, and final grass between W. 130th Street and Webster Road.
- The roadway is complete along with drive aprons for residents on Middleburg Heights side of the project.
- Contractor is working to complete all sidewalks on the Middleburg Heights side and will move on to the landscaping once completed.
- Contractor will be ordering new mailboxes for residents.
- Contractor will remove existing pavement and prepare subbase for new concrete pavement.
August 13, 2020
- General contractor has completed the Strongsville side of roadway, sidewalk, and final grass between W. 130th Street and Webster Road.
- Contractor continues to work through the summer with concrete placement for roadway along Middleburgh Heights side of Sprague Road.
Upcoming Work:
- Complete the intersection of Sprague Road and W. 130th Street and roadway work between north and south construction limits along W. 130th Street.
- Contractor is working to expedite completion of project to limit the disruption to local traffic.
April 7, 2020
- General contractor has completed all waterline installation and converted all homes to new watermain.
- Storm sewer installation is completed.
- Contractor will remove existing pavement and prepare subbase for new concrete pavement.
- All Sprague Road residents’ mailboxes between West 130th Street and Webster Road have been located to Webster Road with a turnout for easy mail collection.
