PROGRESS

November 9, 2018
  • Milling of roadway, pavement repairs, and paving work to install intermediate, surface courses completed. 
  • Berm work in process. 
One Month Look Ahead:
  • Completion of berm work on sides of new roadway.  
  • Placement of ditch protection on west side of project. 
  • Placement of new asphalt drive aprons. 
  • Final pavement markings 
  • Updated existing signage per reflective requirements. 
Notes:
  • Work to install ditch protection and update existing signage has been added to project.  
  • West ditch will be cleaned out, aggregate protection added to prevent erosion Along new roadway.  
  • New signs to be installed per latest reflectivity requirement providing better visibility For traveling public. 
Maintenance of Traffic
  • Roadway to stay open at all times.  
  • One lane of traffic will be maintained each way during work hours with the use of flaggers and or portable signals.  
  • EXPECT DELAYS ~ DRIVERS ON THIS ROADWAY “SLOW DOWN” as work 
  • Operations will be in progress this week. 

October 5, 2018

  • Guardrail work was completed las week. 
One Month Look Ahead:
  • Milling of roadway began October 4th, with pavement repairs to follow. 
  • Chip seal and paving work scheduled for next week. 
Maintenance of Traffic
  • Roadway to stay open at all times. 
  • One lane of traffic will be maintained each way during work hours with the use of flaggers and or portable signals. 
  • EXPECT DELAYS

September 6, 2018
  • Tree removal completed last week. 
  • Trees removed were dead or decaying. 
  • Removed low hanging branches, as well as miscellaneous foliage. 

One Month Look Ahead:
  • Clearing and grubbing. 
  • Milling of roadway scheduled for September. 
  • Pavement repair. 
  • Chip seal work to follow, with placement of intermediate course sometime in late September.

Notes:
  • Tree removal work added to project due to large number of trees in state of decay, presenting a hazardous condition to the traveling public.

  • One lane of traffic will be maintained each way during work hours with the use of flaggers and or portable signals.
