Justice Center Project Executive Steering Committee Meeting

The Justice Center Executive Steering Committee is working to develop facility space criteria and opportunities and provide space programming options for consideration, including options for renovation of existing space, new construction of replacement space or a hybrid of renovation and new construction. The County has hired Project Management Consultants to be the Owner’s Representative and DLR Group to be the Programmer. The Justice Center Executive Steering Committee meetings monthly, in general, to gain updates from the project team, provide feedback and make critical determinations for the future of the Justice Center. It is the intention to address one phrase during each meeting. The project is organized in phases as follows:

  • Phase 1: Project Organization/Orientation
  • Phase 2: “As-Is” System Assessment
  • Phase 3: “Could-Be System of the Future” – Projected Needs & Space Standards
  • Phase 4: Preliminary Operational & Architectural Program & Definition of Alternatives
  • Phase 5: Preliminary Review of Alternatives
  • Phase 6: Refined Alternatives & Comparative Evaluation
  • Phase 7: Reconcile Comments, Recommendations and Determine Course of Action
  • Phase 8: Final Program & Master Plan
