PROGRESS:

July 10, 2020

  • Roadway pavement has been removed at the intersection of MLK Avenue and E. 116th Street to reconfigure the intersection into a roundabout.
  • This will include removal of roadway, sub-base, walk, curb and drainage facilities.

Maintenance of Traffic:

  • Southbound traffic is closed at E. 116th Street and MLK Avenue; detour is in effect.
  • Northbound traffic tapers down to one lane at the intersection of E. 116th St., and MLK Ave.
  • This is all due to construction to reconfigure the E. 116th St., and MLK Ave. intersection.
